The person I choose to do my essay on is Anne Frank. I first learned about her when watching a documentary about World War 2. But as soon as I started to watch it the thing shut off. So I decided to do my essay on Anne Frank. So I could learn more about her. Once I read my book called Anne Frank I felt a connection. When she was growing up she had to be silent, had to be cunning, and quiet as a mouse. She was a very strong women, she died at a short age so I try to help her legacy live on. Anne Frank was a very young teenager who had inspired many people in her role in life she also inspired me and many others. She can show us all how to be strong, how she lived in that tiny house. She was a model who got a call to play Anne Frank in “The Diary of Anne Frank”. She immediately dropped all her things and packed and got on a plane. She was very excited to have this kind of experience. To be able to live in the shoes of the famous and wonderful Anne Frank.
She was very excited to be able to play this role, Mrs. Perkins said,“It just hit me in my heart,”. She was so very happy. One more person she has influenced greatly is me. She has shown me how to be strong for myself and my family. She had to be strong to hold out until the end unlucky she did not make it. I wish though she would have. I would have loved to hear how it was in that camp. What she had to go through, all the horrible things she was made to live through. But now she rests in peace and has to worry about it no more.
I wish I could talk to her to see all the things she would do to make things different. I would love to know how she would like to live her life if she did end up living. I choose Anne Frank because she shows me empowerment and strength and how to stand up and do what is right. Anne Frank shows me how to be the best I can
