Technology And Society In The Pixar Film Wall-E

The human race has the ability to live a life without the constant use of technology. It’s constantly used throughout the majority of the time that it has become an addiction for a vast amount of the human population. Reducing the amount of technology that humans depend on is one of the simple solutions that could be used to solve a problem before one arises. If it was humanly possible to live without the use of technology before than humans can actively try and find ways to help our society with the technology epidemic before it catches up with our society for the worse. In the Pixar movie “Wall-e” the human race has destroyed the environment of the planet that they live on due to lack of care. Technology has been a factor in today’s society that has benefited humans and many ways but it has also proved to be a nuisance and a big distraction to humans as well. It has becoming a factor that has deeply impacted the everyday of the majority of Americans. In today’s society technology is something that the humans population is addicted to and wouldn’t know how to function properly without it. Like the humans that are in the movie Wall-E, our society is driven and controlled by technology. It’s a bad addiction that the human race is unwilling to give up. What plans do we have for when our own technology disobeys our orders and rebels against mankind. The rogue robots rebelled against the humans on the Axiom to help Wall-E and Eve save the plant and Earth (WALL-E). Robots that were created with man-kinds own technology could fail them and they wouldn’t be capable of doing anything about it.
