Imagine having an already well-known family and being able to start out without much trouble in the entertainment world. That’s what life was like for Cara Delevingne. She grew up in Belgravia, London, which is one of the wealthiest districts in the world. Cara’s father, Charles Hamar Delevingne is a property developer, while her older sister, Poppy Delevingne is a model, and started modeling before Cara. Not only having an already famous sister, but her grandmother, Joan Collins, is an actress. Cara Delevingne started modeling at very early age and then starred in the successful movie, Paper Towns, after the movie, people were captivated by her because she has won and been nominated for numerous awards at such a young age and only being out in the entertainment world for such a short amount of time. Cara Delevingne had started modeling at the age of ten in an editorial shot by Bruce Weber, an American fashion photographer and filmmaker, for Vogue Italia. In 2009, she signed with Storm Model Management. Then in 2012, that’s when her fame really started to kick in, when she was twenty years old. Her first catwalk appearance was at the 2011 London Fashion Week in February, and then she was in the 2011 September London Fashion week. No matter what field of entertainment she’s in, people love her. People loved her as a model, people love her as an actress, and people love her as a musician and a fashion designer. She is still so young and people look up to her for what she already accomplished. Being out in the entertainment world for only 4 years and being nominated for nine awards and in addition to winning seven awards, is outstanding for such a young lady.
