Also, as we learn in the cosmology chapter, the universe is keep expanding. By the time human invented such a powerful mode of transportation, Trappist-1 might already change its location, which will possibly more father away from us.
Although many scientists agree that the earth might still be habitable for another billion of years, so there is no need to find another planet. However, as mentioned in my previous blog, human population is keep growing rapidly and hence there might not be enough resources for human to sustain life for that billions of years. Also, as recorded in the earth history, there was a few times of mass extinction where most of the species on earth had been eliminated.
