Religion has been at the center of many conflicts. During the past and even til this very day. Don’t get me wrong they're positive outcomes but on the other hand, religion has caused all sorts of chaos all across the world putting people's lives in jeopardy causing wars due to the fact that one's belief is better than the other. For others, religion has saved them and changed them for the better. Religion is full of blessings and you are accepted for who you are and you are promised everlasting life. Sometimes ur faith is even put to the test. In Yann Martel’s novel Life of Pi his faith gets puts to the test as he loses everything he loves and once knew and it all is taken away from him in the blink of an eye. The main character Piscine known as Pi demonstrates the various ideas that are among the different religions describing the role religion has in his day by day life and how it helps him survive.

Religion still has a big part to do with today to some it may seem like it's not happening because they are not as involved with religion like others who fully commit to God. Many go to church and continue to obey by god. Believing in god gives people the reassurance that there is something greater than life itself. But one sure does have their doubts when nothing seems to be going right. This is due to the fact that we are human and he having feelings and emotions and when we start to feel alone and our worlds that we built up so high start to come crashing down we find ourself in a state where we start to question our creator and why he would let this happen and start to turn our backs to him and lose
