Life Is Not Worth The Cost Of College Life Essay

“You don't have to be a genius or a visionary or even a college graduate to be successful. You just need a framework and a dream,” quote coined by Michael Dell ensuing that college doesn’t always have to be pounded in a student’s head throughout their schooling. While college is always looked at as admirable, college isn’t always the key to life for everyone. People enjoy hands on work, the financial crisis that follows college limits ones abilities, and the decrease of hourly wage for young male and female college graduates all help justify that college isn’t always worth the cost. Given that some people merely cannot be pinned up in an office all day and have to be able to work hands on to thoroughly enjoy the job they are doing. With the idea of hands on working, behind it is the fact that the dirty jobs have to be done, as people many do not like to get dirty and some just enjoy doing the dirty work and are passionate about it as a career. With this generation people look towards the internet for answers and when it comes to manual labor, that is something that surely cannot be done over the internet, hence why we have the jobs that involve labor. With the current world we live in some people still believe in hands on learning, financial crisis usually follows up, and college graduates aren’t getting paid their worth. If one can make a living just as good as a college graduate, without having college experience there is not a need to waste the time the effort and the money. People want to have a career that they thoroughly enjoy and love to do, not be forced into college and then pushed into a job they don’t want. The key to life is not a college education.
