I’m not a person that preaches that meat is murder, I completely understand that not every person has to become a vegetarian in order to help save the environment. There are always plenty of different people that can help out if they were willing to generate a couple of changes to their diet. I could never identify myself as a vegetarian, I love streak way too much. Whether it’s how they keep enclosed in minuscule spaces and cage up on farms, zoos, and pet stores. Now greater than ever it is starting to become more public about the way people are treating animals all over the world. Two of the recent ones being Sea World and Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China. It’s completely ridiculous that sea world is trying to fight back and manufacture commercials to convince people they did nothing wrong. The proof is everywhere, in the documentary Blackfish or research it online. The keep orca whales in a tight cage when they were not being trained for entertainment and causing orca to die at a young age when they should be about to live up to 40 or over years. Next there is the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, which is an event where mass slaughter and consumption of dogs happens. (The Festival of Cruelty , n.d.) An abundance of the pets are stolen or homeless are taken, later beaten and slaughtered for a hot food dishes. This isn’t only just dreadful for the animals, but the people also as they could be facing of the chances of getting unknown diseases or rabies by eating the dog meat. After hearing stories like this it painful, I hate that I can’t stop these events from happening. So I give up meat and sign petitions to stop events such like these from happen, but consistently it doesn’t stop them.
