Elie Wiesel Changes

Amisha Patel once stated, “Life is all about evolution. What looks like a mistake to others has been a milestone in my life. Even if people have betrayed me, even if my heart was broken, even if people misunderstood or judged me, I have learned from these incidents. We are human and we make mistakes, but learning from them is what makes the difference.” Despite her mistakes, she continued to move forward as a person, which ultimately led her to change herself into a much prominent person than she was before. Like Patel, Elie Wiesel also demonstrated the importance of evolution and why it is a human experience. There were numerous characters within the book Night that changed for the good, and changed every day based upon the struggles and experiences that they went through. His hope was altered during the Holocaust, which ultimately changed Elie forever. He went through a transition, from this religious person to this nonreligious person, which ultimately left him feeling more powerful than God, because he got through the holocaust by himself. In addition, Elie even had the audacity to rebel against him. Moreover, everything within the book have revealed how Elie transformed into a different person over time spiritually. All of these examples of evolution, support the valid point made by Amisha Patel: Evolution is a part of life, whether it 's for the good or the bad, and it may be a coming of age experience for some.
