The setting of the story has a feel of a small quite town in middle of nowhere. Where there are dirt roads to get to houses. Houses were spread out from mile to mile. There at the end of the road sits a house with a big willow tree of front. A two story white house with a front deck. The time feels of the nineteen fifty’s. Inside the house sit an old comfortable arm chair.
The window lay open and looking out you can see the wind blow the top of the trees.

Of when she was young she would cry herself to sleep. Maybe something very terrible happen in her child such as a loss of one of her parents. The ending of this story really begins to readers the sense of confusion and dark humor. As a reader story takes a major turn. The story starts to feel lonely as the wife’s life move forward in what we think will be without the husband. The sense of loos and what life looks like with over the husband seems to be a main them but what type of mood would be felt if a close love one was lost. Depression could sink in now having any energy to go on with life. But optimism could sink in as maybe there is new life to feel and enjoy thing without any restrain as she await for what she thinks is her sister arriving but her husband walks in giving reader the thought of a happy ending but imagine being so completes shocked by what was thought to gone is now standing in front of the stairs. It seems there would be on overwhelming amount of joy but there not there complete shock so much that it causes the heart to shut down a complete loss to even breath as she falls to the floor in the last moment of her life the dies.
