The value of life is one finding their true passion in life. This can mean a number of thing ranging from career or even love wise. This passion can be the one thing to save one’s life in darkest of times. The same passion can be motivation to continue to push and grind to be successful in life. A really strong belief that I have is people are put on this planet for a specific purpose but it’s up to them to fulfill that purpose. Everyone has that one thing that gives them at home feeling when doing what they love, that’s when people tend to be most comfortable. Everyone is here for a limited amount of time but it’s up to them to leave their mark and make a legacy for themselves.

No one is promised another day in life so making a big decision with less hesitation could result in a better outcome. Steve Jobs added to this by saying “Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.” Following your heart and desire should be something that everyone does. People tend to slide off the path they want to take because of society. Society can be really intimidating to one’s passion that isn’t popular in the world and this would cause one to avoid it. This is bad for many reasons and one main reason being that it is able to cause unhappiness. That can lead to a number of other possibilities but most of all it takes the person off of the track to the true passion they’re seeking in life. Steve Jobs is a perfect example of finding passion. He went to college and was taking the normal classes that everyone was taking. He dropped out of college because he found no interest in those classes and it was a waste of time. He then had the idea of dropping back in and taking only the classes that interested him. He took calligraphy and fell in love with it, this is when his risky decision paid off because it connected all of the dots for him. This was the beginning of something great, soon him and Woz started working on Apple in his parents garage at the age of 20. Only 10 years later it grew into a 2 billion dollar company! This would be the best moments of anyone else’s life but for Jobs it wasn’t. Soon he got fired from the same company that he helped create.
