Paraguay is a beautiful third world country located between Argentina, Bolivia, and Brazil. The total amount of area is 157,048 mi. The average temperature in Paraguay is 87 degrees which is fairly warm. The population is over 6.8 million people, with a birthrate of 3 children for every women. The death rate has a larger amount than birth rates at a 4.7 percentage. The life expectancy average is 72 years, which is pretty common. People in Paraguay are free to choose any religion they want however, Roman Catholic is overall the largest practiced faith. Other practiced religions are Christian, Jewish, and Muslim. Overall, 98 percent of the population speaks spanish, so that is considered their main language spoken. Also, the literacy rate is …show more content…
Teens like to hang out in groups and play sports or go out. Dinner and lunch consist of large meals such as soups, meats, dumplings, and meat. Family gatherings are very important to the Paraguayan culture, they like to talk as a family about their days and have good relationships. Sleeping is also very important, they like to have at least eight hours of sleep and take naps occasionally. The way of life in Paraguay is relaxing and loved by those who live it. The government is a constitutional republic, having citizens being allowed to vote and do as they wish. They are lucky enough to not have to fight for rights and not be controlled by government. This cultural is seen in Paraguay's arts, crafts, music, fashion, and languages. Since the languages spoken are mostly Spanish and Guarani it influences culture highly. Also, the common Roman Catholic religion also influences people's views tremendously. Customs are very important, one of them are choosing the right godparents. Godparents are highly respectable and chosen very carefully. Also, traditions are vital to people, an example is spending holidays at a particular place and doing traditional activities. Local popular foods are chicken soup, chipa bread, and corn cake.
Major agricultural products sold are soybeans, cattle meat, whole fresh milk, and pig meat. Popular and primary imports are vehicles, tobacco, and consumer goods from China, Argentina, and Brazil. Imports in Paraguay can cost a variety of different ways depending on the products and size of shipping but, overall imports usually cost up to two hundred us dollars. On the other hand, major exports are soybeans, meats, and cotton. Paraguayans communicate through lower technological basic phones.
