Life In Jail Persuasive Speech

Joe and Jack were two childhood friends.They grew up together and everyday they did things together. Today was the day of their high school graduation and Jack said “what are you going to do now.” “i'm probably going to be going to louisiana state, what about you.” “Harvard offered me a full scholarship and i'm going there.” This was the last time Joe and Jack talked to each other for a while.
Five years after that day and they found each other in a courtroom and being charged for murder. They both pleaded not guilty, unfortunately the judge did not believe them. The final sentence was twenty years and maximum security. Joe and Jack still did not hate each other after all the things they went through, they even were located at the same prison

They were worried because they were assigned to a cell in the same block Officer Stephen ran. The three tone sound rang that ment it was their lunch hour, they procedded out of their cells and started walking. As Jack was walking out the block he sneezed, Officer Stephen then look at him an said “NO TALKING” and punched him in the gut. Joe saw the whole thing and they both realized what they were really in for.
Life in prison was horrible , every day they woke up to the yelling of Officer Stephen. People hated him, some people tried to stand up against him. The people who did try to stand up against him were beaten until Officer Stephen got bored, and Officer Stephen loved doing his job. The worst day was their third month of prison when Joe’s food was knocked down on the floor, this triggered Joe to start charging at him. Officer Stephen then proceeded to whip out his baton and beat him until he was unconscious. They filed complaints every day about this, this was a privately owned prison so getting help was hard. Their only hope of getting away from the prison was getting transferred. Luckily they were told of the new Warden. Warden Carol was a nice person and looked out for the prisoners.
