Between five and six million Jews - out of a Jewish population of nine million living in Europe - were killed during the Holocaust. There were 505,000 jewish people out of a total population of 67 million Germans, or somewhat less than 0.75 percent in 1933. That is approximately 66,495,000 bystanders. The White Rose movement took a stand against Nazism and begs the question “what if”?

Before Kurt Huber was killed he said, “And thou shalt act as if On thee and on thy deed Depended the fate of all Germany, And thou alone must answer for it.” The final leaflet produced by the white rose movement was smuggled out of Germany and given to the allies. They printed millions and dropped them all over the country.
The White Rose movement is a perfect example all people, especially young people, should aspire to follow. Young people can always do the most good to inspire their piers to make a change, hoping to change a new generation. Indifference poisons humanity, and it's truly terrifying how little people care about other life forms let alone other humans. Groups of people will always come together with one another to hurt others, human nature is a cruel thing. The really disgusting thing is when people ignore a problem.
Movements like the White Rose can inspire people if they just will themselves to care. “Uhh.. that ruined my mood,” or “Why do they teach this in schools,” is heard more than not any where near teanagers being confronted with truths of the world. Most likely because the idea of putting your own life at stake to change mentalitys is just too hard for many humans to fathom. The plague of mankind:
