Leroy Moffit has found himself unemployed after many years of steady employment as a truck driver. He was a long-distance truck driver that rarely had any time off. He had always been a truck driver and his job had provided him with a nice living. He was proud of himself and his success in the trucking field. It gave him a sense of pride and accomplishment. An accident will take him away from his job. He may be unable to be a truck driver anymore. Leroy Moffit, a good man, is facing three serious life crises. Every issue has been experienced by someone. Some people have employment issues. Some people have health issues. Some people have marriage issues. Most feel that these three issues are very serious and affect most families negatively. Three questions still remain at the end of this story. Will Leroy recover from his accident? Will he be able to find a new job? Will Norma Jean stay married to him? The story eerily suggests that Norma Jean might be considering suicide by her placement on the side of a cliff, and her waving to her husband. Many questions are left open for the reader to imagine the
