The trajectory of my life changed when I became a teen mom at the age of 16. Before becoming a teen mom, I had no goals set in place for my life. I was just an ordinary teen enjoying all life had to offer. When I became pregnant I realized that it was no longer about me and what I wanted, it was now about my unborn child. I can remember being so scared and frightened because I never expected this to happen to me. No, I wasn’t a promiscuous teen, however, I was a teen experiencing in adult behaviors.
