I have seen parents cry, children fall, families’ laughs, people scream, from all different ethnicities and races. The one thing they all seem to have in common is the fight to reach contentment. One day I dream of opening a day care that expresses diversity and allows all children to feel accepted. I want to take the joy that I have received from the people around me and give it to those who not only need it but those who truly deserve it. An active lifestyle in Southampton is not an easy task. I spend the majority of my week going to meetings, speaking to all different people, trying to make our school, our community and our world a better and more joyous place to live. The kindness of our neighborhood as pushed me to take on the desire of one day working with students.
