The author of this article had a lot of details in the article which was great. It gave a break down from when Bruce first left home as well as his last day and the days and nights between the two. D, P. Eng who explained the concert of paralleling Quantum Mechanics and Astrology done a great job with this paper. His goal was to give the reads the basis concert so that people can realize that there may be a relationship between the two. Although, everything he was listing is based off of a hypothesis in order make the similarities between the two show there is really no known fact that the two truly play apart or a role in a person’s everyday life. Unfortunately, based off of the overwhelming information that Dr. Das has place in the paper with charts and the actual break down of Astrological terms, zodiac, planets, sun sign, Ascendant or Rising Sun as well as a few more resources a person could argue that it does play a part in someone everyday life. He went into a great amount of detail to try and prove that it is in fact a part of who a person is as well as what they do. Therefore, I would use some of his other work in which I found to also be about Astrology because he gives a good breakdown of how it works and an insight on how it works based on an individual. Therefore, I also feel that this may be able to help determine in the future why some juveniles do what they do when committing a …show more content…
Birgit Lobsang Drime talks with Lama Zopa Rinpoche about how meditation can help a person. They talked about how the retreats and the study material handed out to the students helped them with their meditation. There was also the discuss of how they prayed before they meditated and the importance of both of them. The author gave a lot of details about the day to day activities the student done as well as how he used Rinpoche teachings to help his students. They both felt true meditation the Dharma is the cause for happiness, liberation and enlightenment because that is the entire process of meditation. Unfortunately, in order to achieve that standard is totally based on the student’s karma but it an also depend on the teacher as well. Therefore, meditation in my opinion could be a good treatment for some juvenile because it teaches them how to focus as well as find true happiness and enlightenment within themselves. So, I would use this author’s work for another assignment because he has placed a lot of great details about meditation in the article and had a reliable source in the article to help discuss the importance of

In his 20 March 2016 Teen Residential Treatment Programs “The Tough Love Approach Used By Boot Camps Is Harmful and Abusive” article, William Norman Grigg argues that “tough love” used by boot camps is harmful and abusive. Grigg states that boot camps are an example of an “behavior modification” industry which is that they change the behaviors of an adolescent by using methods that have positive and negative effects. Grigg notes that the WWASPS(World Wide Association of Specialty Programs [and Schools]) lock children in dog cages and teens gagged with nooses around their neck. Children are imprisoned in terrible conditions that Americans would not accept even for adult death row inmates in America. Thus, if boot camps practice abusive treatment…

Introduction Adult boot camps, also called “shock incarceration” programs, were first implemented in Georgia and Oklahoma in the early 1980s (Guerrero, 2009, p.73). They are short-term residential facilities with programs that resemble those within a military basic training camp. The purpose of these camps is to scare or “shock” an individual away from participating in criminal behavior by placing them in a harsh physical environment. In late 1990s, third-generation boot camps began to rise and are still used today. These camps incorporate drug and alcohol treatment programs and emphasize an aftercare component when individuals are released back into society (as seen in the Alabama boot camp program).…

He began describing his passion and direct gravitation towards astronomy, which would later impact his life tolerably. His metamorphosis from childhood to adulthood, slightly changed, but in the end became his life profession. He did not disclose too much on his childhood friends, or relationships growing up, to give a judgment of his personality.…

Meditation In this ever growing and constantly changing lifestyle of ours, we experience a lot of people struggling to keep up to their hectic life and see them constantly breaking their stress in the form of anger, sadness, depression and many other situations that prolongs our stress rather than reducing them. If we look back into the juncture of growing, children are far better at handling stress since they don’t build up stress as the adults in our community do. Children often express their feelings and constantly drive away all sorts of unwanted and toxic obstructions blocking happiness. So what can we adults do to avoid these stressful situations that are just blocking the happiness and peace that we are seeking?…

Astrology is a study based off the position of the sun, stars, moon, and planets.
