Everyone has milestones at some point in their lives. Mine is big to me, but maybe not to others. Only, older siblings will understand my milestone in life that began at the age of five years old. This was an enormous and a major change in my life but it was also a blessing it was the birth of my younger brother Chanse. First of all, I dragged finding out that Chanse was a little brother instead of a little sister. Then, there was a change in the sleeping arrangements in the house for me. So, the day came for us to go and receive the information on whether it is a girl or boy. While in the room, the tech points at the screen and asked me,” do you want a brother or sister?” I said, “I want a sister.” She said well you are have a little brother. My mother and I begun to cry. I suppose I could say Chanse has taught me about unconditional love at all times. Being an only child, I did not know how to share, but being in the big brother situation, has taught me that my items in the house could be shared with others. Christmas is great because we get up together happy and proud of whatever my mom and dad has put under the Christmas tree. Because of his constant crying when he came home from the hospital, I learned to sleep in my own bed and in my own room without my mom and dad; therefore, I grew-up really fast in one night. As far as him being a boy instead of a girl, well, I like him being a boy just fine, because if he would have been a girl, I would have to lock her up and throw away the key to keep the boys from her. Having a little brother truly disrupted my life in many ways, mostly all good

There are several experiences in my life where I have felt that I was treated in an unfair manner, but the most recent of those experiences is the one that occurred to me only months prior to this application. Up until the beginning of November of this year, I used to believe that being a great and successful student would be the most rewarding accomplishment of my senior high career. As a result of this, I unwisely assumed that the most important thing in my life was how well I could do on the next test. I spent a meager amount of my time involved in anything else aside from my homework or studying; expecting to be fairly remunerated for a majority of my hard work. Earlier this year, I was indeed rewarded with an application to National Honors…

In class, we discussed the topic of birth order and how it shapes and affects the children in their respective order. Many people believe that birth order automatically says something about an individual: such as how they think or how they act. While discussing this topic during class and in our small group discussions, I began to reflect on my personal experiences relating to birth order. After becoming more informed, my views and thoughts of birth order reformed based on the new knowledge I gained. Birth order is not a reflective of personality it is a result of parenting styles.…

This may not seem like much, but the truth is that it has affected my life more than most people would expect. When I first started school it wasn’t that hard because none of them were in school with me, they were already in a different one…

I've achieved three big milestones that my parents' never achieved. My big milestones are graduating from high school with my high school diploma, applying to colleges and getting accepted, and actually attending college to finish pursuing my education.
