There is a story told in Lime Springs, Iowa about the lidtke Mill how it is haunted. People say 5 girls went in there and they never seen them again. Here how it began. 5 boys were near lime springs, iowa. They wanted something to do so, they first said let's go play hide and seek and the yard at night. They were playing that for an hour and they kinda got bored after it for a while. They they said let's go the mill and play the Ouija board there, then play hide and seek. They started walking to the mill and half way there they saw lights flickering. They got closer and they went into the mill and they all sat around each other and started playing the game. When playing it, they heard something crash down right behind them. They were so scared and ran to the other side. They started walking back down the hall and went closer to see what fell down. It was an old piece from the mill. They were too scared to play hide and seek so they left, but the door would not open. They tried everything to open it, but it would not work so they went out the window. They were walking back fast and they kept hearing something behind them and all of sudden Jim …show more content…
They looked back and they were both gone again. They ran back and the first place they looked was downstairs and they were not there. They went upstairs and they were gone until they heard yelling from outside by the river. They ran out and started talking to them, they were in the cage that was locked up but the key was right there. They swam with them and then unlocked and looked under and it was a really big hole underwater then it just shut. They swam out and ran back and finally they all made it safe. They all went to bed that night and woke up the next morning and all felt like they needed to go back there. They went back there at noon and jumped in the river and the door was open and then swam underneath and went in and they closed the
