I eliminated “head hopping,” and endeavored to structure the novel in a limited third person point of view through the experience of novel’s main character William Blake. I also made a concerted effort to improve characterization by adding dimension to each of the characters through development of mannerisms, personality traits, and realistic behaviors. Finally, I reduced the length of the novel from 147,000 words to 117,000 words. I was unable to cut the length to the recommended 100,000 words. I believe that cutting the word count any
