In modern day America, liberals and conservatives are always arguing usually never coming to a middle ground on a bill, in which it either gets completely changed or it gets vetoed. Liberals and conservatives have complete opposite views on many things like social welfare, prisons and abortion. Conservatives oppose change not because they don’t want it but because they doubt the change will make things better.
