This is my best work for Liberal Arts Mathematics. Though this class may be a review of every math course I have taken in high school thus far, it is rather challenging. I have discovered new information and ideas that I have never learned before. Those new ideas have been very difficult at times, especially in this unit. I set aside an entire week to study for this test, I reviewed every concept, every quiz, every assignment, etc.. My week’s worth of studying has proven successful, as my grade reflects.

From that conference came the idea of the Common Core State Standards Initiative, often shortened to “Common Core.” About one year later, the United States officially adopted the education guidelines (Common Core Timeline). After the Common Core’s implementation, American parents and educators realized how problematic the standards could become, particularly the mathematics. Common Core math standards set a developmentally complex curriculum, lack college-preparatory mathematics, and can eventually hinder U.S. competition with the rest of the world.…

If the next generation is our future, would that consider a senior in high school to be more valuable than a senior in college in society? If the new generation will bring more excellence, knowledge, and a different outlook to the way things are to insure a better tomorrow, the youngest would hold the most worth. In high school, seniors are the ones who rule the school, and is believed that they will be our next line of doctors who will find a cure for cancer or save our planet from global warming.…
