The liberal arts focus of the core curriculum includes studies in oral and written communication, natural and behavioral sciences, mathematics, humanities, fine arts, computer skills, and wellness and kinetics.” A liberal arts education requires the student to take one to two classes in the above named subjects. They are part of the core curriculum and are required for all students to graduate. Although schools have different requirements for the liberal arts curriculum math, science, history, English, art or music, and psychology are usually included. She has learned “to make her own destiny” by learning the tech lingo and playing for hours with the software trying to learn it and make it better. She also has the company speak in plain English when in meetings to help everyone understand what exactly is being talked about. Words can have so many different meanings that by speaking plainly the confusion of terms, especially with those who lack a tech background, can help the company make their product better because it is coming from a person who does not understand tech the same way the tech producers do.
I want to be a doctor and am a Biology major. Getting an education that includes many different subjects will be useful to me because I can use them all as a doctor. I am in Honors College and we read about two books a week and then discuss the book in class. After the discussion we are required to write a short essay over what we learned. Both discussing and writing every single week, something which I used to dislike a lot has become a lot easier to me now and has helped me look at matters from different
