Decent Essays
Good Afternoon,

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Liani's pending court case. I was informed by her caregivers that she returned home yesterday.

On Thursday January 13, 2017, I completed a home visit to assess the safety of Liani Rodriguez. Currently, Liani is in the care of her kinship parents, Evelyn Luciano and Kevin Haughey. Liani was safety with her needs being met. There were no safety threats detected.

Can you please provide me the Safety Affidavit for completion?

Thank You,

La Posada Circle, Green Valley, AZ 85614. The retirement community center is a private well-guarded facility with roaming Security Guards throughout the center which prohibits photos to be taken within the facility, as all visits must be through contacting the front lobby office and checking in before any contact is to be made with any of the tenants. Ms. Hernandez’s meeting was held in her apartment # 123, which was found to be a one bedroom apartment which had a small front living room and a small kitchen with a refrigerator and stove. The interior of the home seemed to be cluttered with various pictures and mementos. However, the apartment was clean and smelled fresh without no present of pet odors.…

Serial is a 12 episode podcast based around the murder of Hae Min Lee and her alleged killer Adnan Syed who was convicted for it. In this shocking podcast there was a view into the prosecution’s tactics and actions that shocked many listeners; even the narrator of the podcast itself, Sarah Koenig. The prosecution relied primarily on one witness for a majority of their case, due to an absence of evidence. As well, they also used Adnan’s relationships against him. Overall the prosecution’s actions and tactics used to convict Adnan Syed are unethical and unjust and they reflect poorly on the criminal justice system.…

In the case of William Calley, he was described to be “undistinguished…college dropout…insecure” (Hamilton 132) and justified his frequent orders with “I’m the boss” (Hamilton 132). Calley’s portrayal as in an inefficient and impulsive leader of the company allowed for the justification of the cruelties at My Lai. While the direct orders for the search and destroy came from those higher in the chain of command than Calley, his characterization as a poor leader allowed for the American public to believe he was solely responsible. The predetermined image of Calley caused the American public to support…
