Conformity can lead people to become prejudice and fear of difference. As recognized by Logan Feys, “Living in society, we are under constant pressure to surrender our individuality to the will of the majority, the school, the workplace, the family, etc.” (The Sociology of Leopard Man 1) This explain the idea that people are giving up their uniqueness to be acknowledge by the world. Consequently, each day people stresses themselves out to be identical to others, to lose their existence, and live like a robot. Another example is in one of Professor Keating’s lesson when he advised his students to step on the table and look around the classroom. It is understandable that he wants his students to look at the world with a different view. Furthermore, he wants them to have their own feeling and understand of the world rather than seeing it based on other's’
