Sate testing the most dreadful anxiety causing tests you will ever have. Between the extremely confusing wording of questions. The overly strict rules. The Idea that low scores gets you low funding. The fact that this test creates more test anxiety than any other test you will have. Utah one of the few remaining states that actually does tests and determines how much funding you get from those scores. Teachers salary lowers because of the schools funding. This my friend is why we need to get rid of SAGE or Sate end of level testing.

A pediatrician in Jackson Vile said that "We've seen increased Testing anxiety over the past five to eight years," she said. "I mean, it's just incredible." Also students tend to miss out and not enjoy the learning experiences due to that one test. Also with current state law students that don't pass the test in 10th grade do not get their high school diploma. So now the test itself already creates stress but now you can not apply for any colleges if you fail that test cause you can't get your high school diploma. Yes all states have end of level testing and that is true because it's required but not all states have these unfair laws and actions. States like California, Colorado, and Illinois. Do not decrease funding for schools. The end of level test is for teachers to see what they can do better. The test scores do not control the funding the school receives. Therefore the argument is invalid because the only other state that does the same testing/ funding program is Florida. Also guess what unlike earlier tests this has no accountability none what so ever. previous end of level tests had years or research. Had years of experts changing it constantly.
