Since my sophomore year in high school, I 've been able to be in a kindergarten classroom under the guidance of the same teacher, Mrs. Cookie Bodie. Through this experience I 've been able to watch her attitude be positive towards herself, those around her, and the subject matter she was teaching. She portrayed the characteristics of a Level 3 teacher, and I am very thankful for the time I was able to learn from her. They were able to relate the object they were learning with a solid memory or experience they have had …show more content…
Bodie 's classroom I 've been able to learn a lot about how to be an effective teacher. I need to have a positive attitude towards myself so I will be able to have a positive attitude towards others and relate to what my students are feeling. Training to be a teacher will not automatically make me a Level 3 teacher, but from watching the methods Mrs. Bodie uses, I hope to one day achieve that level of excellence. And although I feel as if I would do well with classroom management, I know there is still plenty more to learn. The chance I 've been given to work with such an effective educator has encouraged me to aspire towards that goal as well. I am thankful and blessed to be given this opportunity to glean all the knowledge I can from
