One of point of Anne’s character changes is her growing interest in the politics. As in the beginning she was not sufficiently involved in the workings of the politics. Thus could not understand a reason of anti-Semitism, and of the war – that was in her opinion was pointless. But over time she goes on to take interest in politics, in her letter to Kitty on third of August, 1943. She goes on to inform her that things are moving in the right direction on the political front as the Italy has banned Fascist Party (Frank, 1996).

It is remarkable how she transforms herself in to thought provoking girl when it comes to understanding human nature and motive at such a little age. To her mind’s curiosity, human nature may be selfish and stingy as she has gained some insight into human nature since her time in the Annex.
