Welcome to the class Winston. Based from your introduction, I see that travelling is a hobby of yours. I have been lucky enough to visit five countries so far and plan on taking a trip to Brazil next year. Your educational plans are genuine, and I think if you stick to them, it will pay off in the future. I equally picked APU because of it giving me the freedom to be able to learn at my own pace, and making adequate time for other activities I am also working working towards my bachelors and eventually my masters. It is nice to see that you have you life all planed out. It is an honor , and an accomplishment to serve in the millitary especially that long in the military and now focused on completing your educational objectives. Very ambitiouse

Dear J. Madison, I have the utmost respect for you, but something has been puzzling me lately, I simply cannot comprehend why you oppose the Connecticut Compromise so deeply. I despise that we are in an argument about the ways our government should work. The Constitution would not have been as grand as it is if not for you, however your Virginia Plan does not represent smaller states, such as my home in Connecticut, New Jersey, and many other states are in agreement. My idea is a compromise, which involves each state, it includes bicameral legislature, with one part proportional representation and the other half involving each state having one representative. I know you are a busy man, but I hope that you will consider voting for the good of…

A Cry for Help An indentured servant named Richard Frethorne, from the Virginia plantation Martin’s Hundred, wrote letters to his mother and father begging them to “redeem” his indenture.1 The letter written by Frethorne opened up his parents eyes and the eyes of other Englishmen to the unforsaken truth about indentured servants, the conditions they were living in, and what hardships America was going through (e.g. disease, starvation, and death.) Frethorne wrote his parents a letter in hopes of revoking his indenture and returning home to England. If the Frethorne family were unable to do that, alternatively, selling meals with “good folk” or sending him food to sell in America to pay back his indenture.…

Ethos, pathos, and logos were used throughout the whole letter but Martin Luther never knew which method worked. Martin Luther King Jr.was intelligent to use all three methods to persuade stubborn men. The provincial clergymen of Birmingham had written a letter to Martin Luther King Jr. to express their opinion about the segregation problem. Martin Luther King Jr. decided to respond back and by persuading them into wanting the “outsiders” help with segregation. In the Letter of Birmingham Martin Luther King Jr. uses ethos the credibility in the letter, pathos the emotions behind his words, and logos the logic portrayed in his ideas but the clergymen respond more to logos.…

When I first learned about osteopathic medicine I was attracted to the idea of the holistic approach of working with the patient to treat the whole body and not just the disease. This osteopathic philosophy is supplemented with what I had learned during my time as a Public Health student where the focused was on heath education with an emphasis on preventative medicine to help the individual and community. I came to this realization when I was observing an osteopathic family medicine physician interacting with a diabetic patient that was non-compliant with his medication that came in for a cut on his calf that was not healing properly. The physician proceeded to explain how by not taking his diabetic medication, affected his calf from healing…

Then September came, the month I left to Basic Military Training.…
