I am honored to write this letter to express my support for Susanna Bell in her application for the Go Texan Scholarship. I had the pleasure of teaching Susanna during her senior year in my Culinary Arts class. From the first day of class, Susanna impressed me with her self discipline, love for learning and love for helping others.

Susanna distinguished herself from her peers by going beyond graduation requirements and gaining 24 dual credit hours that will give her a head start in college. Throughout the year Susanna was active in student council, track, cross country and tennis all while maintaining her 3.5 GPA. Likewise, her volunteer work included hours participating at The Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome, Southeast
