Letter To Ms. Channing For Miscommunication

Decent Essays
He said, she said can be a dangerous game. Sometimes even trying to find the facts can be difficult one. That’s why you should always seek out the truth, because you know if you dig you will get things done. That’s when you’re dealing with business you should always have everything and writing and you should do that because you don’t want any misguided talk.
The first I would do is apologize to Ms. Channing for the miscommunication. The next I would do is look at the invoice and see what I could do. I would tell Ms. Channing that because we have a close relationship with the state and appreciate their business I will eat half the cost of the alcohol. The new cost will be 1,750. I would explain to Ms. Channing that anything her and my former

Since the beginning of our verbal agreement, we had operated in good faith by delivering everything requested, promptly and at the consistent rates despite the fluctuation of the market. Don did not hold up his end of the bargain because he was often paid his invoices late. I have not penalized him by charging interest or penalties which the invoices clearly states. I would remind him that trying to pursue litigation would hinder this business relationship because he may be ordered to pay the difference. It wouldn’t be a threat, but it would be a bargaining chip to sit down and have mediation to salvage this business…

In my letter to Mr. Woodlock, I was able to incorporate all three elements of rhetoric: ethos, pathos, and logos. I used ethos by adding a study done by the National Association for Sport and Physical Education, which shows that physical education classes are beneficial to students in many ways. Since that association is a credible source, it is an ethos. I used pathos by adding that students these days are just spending most of their school day sitting in a chair. Students need a way to relieve their stress and anxiety, which may lead to many problems.…

Dear J. Madison, I have the utmost respect for you, but something has been puzzling me lately, I simply cannot comprehend why you oppose the Connecticut Compromise so deeply. I despise that we are in an argument about the ways our government should work. The Constitution would not have been as grand as it is if not for you, however your Virginia Plan does not represent smaller states, such as my home in Connecticut, New Jersey, and many other states are in agreement. My idea is a compromise, which involves each state, it includes bicameral legislature, with one part proportional representation and the other half involving each state having one representative. I know you are a busy man, but I hope that you will consider voting for the good of…

Dear Carolyn Boles Scholarship Committee, I have had a great first semester in college full of learning and meeting new people. I studied extremely hard the entire semester and was determined to get the best grades possible. My favorite class was psychology and I received a very good grade in the class, so I was asked to become a mentor for the class next school year. I also decided to work toward receiving a minor in health psychology because I loved the class so much. In another one of my classes, we learned about different health field careers in order to decide if nursing was right for us since it is such a competitive major at IUPUI.…

    Edna's Persuasive Letter

When Edna continued with her new way of thinking she felt more like a person since her separation with society and Leonce. When she started to like other men as a married woman shows how serious she was about changing her lifestyle. This was another reason why I support her, men who wrongfully treat a woman should not be with them. I think that was a great decision by Edna, to find someone else who actually cared about their relationship rather than a material. Edna just wanted to be alone half of the time or get a dose of emotional attention that she never had living with Leonce.…

    What Is Credibility?

In any workplace setting, effective communication is vital for the success of the organization, and credibility is a foundational factor of being able to effectively communicate. From personal experience, I tend to walk away from or disregard comments made by those who I do not find credible. Working relationships are built upon trust. This trust expands to include the following three key aspects: competence, caring, and character, which make up your level of credibility (Cardon, 2013).…
