Dear. Miss Jackee, This reading journal is going to be written on the book Lew Wallace. I enjoyed this book at times it wasn’t very interesting, but I got threw in anyway. The climax was slow, and sometimes I wanted to set the book down. I think the main theme in the book was to keep on going in life and succeed even if you lose everything. It helped me understand that I can’t blame life and give up on something but to keep on trying, and never give up. The mood the book put me in was a feeling of being proud for the character when he succeeded and when he didn’t. It made me feel sad sometimes, but it also made me understand life’s not easy and make sure you do everything to your best ability. I thought the author did a great job putting

This is just the beginning of change happening to Alice in the book On Mystic Lake written by Kristin Hannah. The book the places that scare you by Pema Chodron was very interesting. The title itself Caught my attention right away, but what really got me to read this book is that the author is a Buddhist nun, so she will not talk about religion or tell you what is right or what wrong. Before I read this book I thought the book was going to be about metal disorders only because of the title. I was completely wrong, this book is for all types of people who desire to face our fears in life with an open heart.…

For some people it may sound shallow but for me it was more than the words or the text he used because I received the message beyond those words printed on the pages of his book.…
