Dear DSU’s Promotion and Tenure Committee,
As a current junior at DSU, who has also been taught by him, it’s with my pleasure that I recommend Dan Mortenson for promotion.
Dan has been a great teacher and mentor to me throughout my time at DSU. This also stretches beyond me as he is both patient and understanding towards his students. He has always been willing and determined to sit down with us after class to assist us when we didn’t understand the contents discussed in class. In addition, he has proven to be both knowledgeable and experienced in the art of Audio Recording, truly a valuable resource to us.
He has also been a key player in assisting me find internship work over the summers. For example, it was thanks to him that I was able

During my sophomore year as an undergraduate at the University of South Carolina, I was accepted into the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program. I do not exaggerate when I say that this program changed the entire course of my life: helping me to fully understand my interests, altering my professional goals, and providing me with a viable path for my passions. As a first generation student, I had very little knowledge about how to navigate the sphere of undergraduate education and in the same vein, I knew next to nothing about graduate school. Before McNair I was never aware of what graduate school could offer me and the program, and the people it connected me with, became my greatest source of support as I made the journey into pursuing my doctorate.…

I appreciate him for his support and guidance. He is very wise and constantly thinks three steps ahead. As the supervisor of the rescue swimmers, he is the most selfless individual I have ever met. He is without a doubt an outstanding leader by example. He treats his crewmen as if they were his family being emotionally involved with his crew and he has never called out at work for displaying any kind of bad temperament or accused of being arrogant…

Over this past summer, I had the pleasure of meeting a very admirable person. Dr. Stuart Chapman Hill was one of my choral instructors at Governor's School, and his leadership style has had a very huge impact on me. First of all, let me start off by saying that this man is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet should you get the chance to. Right away, I instantly felt like I’d known him for years, even though I’d only been around him for a few seconds. Dr. Hill has a very accepting attitude; he doesn’t make assumptions about a person.…

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to attend North Dakota State University. My dad and sister are NDSU alumni, so furthering my education where they did provides us with a unique bond. Additionally, not many of my relatives attended college, allowing me to see the difficulties in providing for oneself and family without a college degree. Although I know the next seven years are going to be challenging, extremely strenuous, and will push me to the edge of my comfort zone, the satisfaction of administering medical services to those who need them will make it worthwhile. Not only will I be able to care for others with a Pharm.…

What was the situation (project, program or activity) which you were involved with this individual? The project I was involved in was to help create a new process for how an item SKU (stock-keeping unit) is created, which we worked on developing a procedure call an NIS (new item submission). The company I work for runs two big retail establishments, one is seasonal and the other is year-round. The problem was both lines of business were unorganized when it came to processing new item SKU’s, each line of business had completely different processes instead of one uniform way of creating NIS form.…

Your Honor, I am writing this letter in regards to boyfriend, David Matraj, for his trial/sentencing date set to April 10th, 2017. The reason why I am writing to you is to express my concerns regarding the events that took place that evening and the reasons why I feel that David does not pose a threat to myself or to my daughter, Autumn. I have been dating David for almost two years (June 20th), and just like any normal couple we have experienced a few bumps in the road. I am stubborn about things just as most women are, and he can be as well about certain things. Ours is one of the longest relationships I have been in…

Each of these challenges brought with them the opportunity to reflect and see where improvement could be made not only at the Center but within myself as well. At times mistakes were made but I grew from them and am grateful for the mistakes more than successes, as it was through the mistakes that I grew the most. Years will past, but I will always recall my time here as a good one and I look forward to continuing my relationship not only with the Center but with those who I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I am grateful for the opportunity that I had to be here and while I look forward to my new job it is with a heavy heart that I resign from my position as an administrative assistant and an assistant program coordinator for the Center for Constitutional Studies at Utah Valley…
