Letter To Disrespectful Staff

Decent Essays
I’m writing this letter to inform you on your disrespectful staff. They are rude, and don’t help at all. When I simply asked for information from Ms. Johnson, she ignored my request and pointed me in an opposite direction. When I walked off she mumbled something under her breath, but to avoid conflict I kept walking. Authority wonders why they don’t get any respect from students. Students have told me some stories and it’s a wonder why over half this staff shouldn’t be fired! I would also like to complain on Mr. Blaire. Whom I seen pull on a female and was handling her pretty rough. The staff is getting out of control. You need to check up on your staff randomly or more importantly sit them down and have a teacher conference.

However, as students, we find the enforcement of these penalties is virtually obsolete, unless the offense is of an extreme nature, such as the threatened school shooting that took place a couple years ago. Thus, before we can demand more penalties for behavioral offenses, we need to enforce the one’s we have, to see if they need revision. Then, we can adjust as deemed necessary. Thus, in practicality, it is not solely the staff or administration of this campus to enforce these conduct rules.…

In the following narrative, I will outline the evidence we have compiled against Vickie. An Application for Assistance was signed on April 20, 2016. My schools whistleblowing policy states that employees are often the first to realise that there may be something seriously wrong within their school. Nevertheless, they may not express their growing concerns because they feel that it would be disloyal to their colleagues. They may also fear harassment or victimisation. The governing body are focused on the highest possible standard of openness, probity and accountability. In with this commitment, they encourage employees and others with genuine concerns about any of the governing body’s work to approach and voice those worries.…

This letter is to inform you of my resignation from my position as server at Dragonfly, effective April 25, 2016. Due to daily harassment from employees and management I am forced to put in my two weeks notice. I have endured as much as possible from the staff and brought the harassment to the attention of management many times. Since then it has become increasingly worse and nothing has been done, or even brought up in conversation by the incompetent and lazy management staff. I was told by Luis that he “would look into it” in a disrespectful tone, as if harassment was not a matter of concern, then proceeded to give me a blank stare as to suggest I should leave.…

Although there are many problems in this case, the main problem is lack of student learning, which needs to be the top priority of a free and appropriate public education, aside from safety, which is always at the forefront. As the principal, I need to reflect on my last 2 years of making an attempt to develop positive and trusting relationships, and my own growth as an educational leader. The problem here is that Principal Hulbert is still at a Level 1 leadership role; where people follow you simply because of your title. This was demonstrated when Bill Osborne, the employee spokesperson, told the principal, “You are the boss and you can force us to revise the lesson plans. Just tell us what you want in the lesson plans, we’ll copy it, and we can go on to more important issues,” (Kowalski, 2012, p.5).…

“Facta-Non-Verba: Deeds not Words,” I read those words online when I researched the fraternity, and was immediately impressed with the meaning that they convey. However, it was not until the information session, where I heard the words aloud, did they really impact me, and caused me to pause in consideration. Some words carry a certain power that causes inflection and reflection when spoken aloud. When I heard the phrase aloud, I honestly felt moved, and inwardly remembered back to when I was in high school where I demonstrated “Facta-Non-Verba.”…

As a new principal at Howard L. Jones High School, I have many challenges facing me on my first day. Jones High School uses the zero tolerance policy when it comes to discipline, and that policy can create a lot of tension among stakeholders. My school is diverse, and that in itself is new to this school. The first problem I am facing is our district’s drug policy and the young lady that was sent to the office because of a mysterious pill that was found in her possession that supposedly is for allergies. My second challenge is our district’s policy on weapons and the young man that is in the office with a sharpened file.…

How someone is treated in the workplace will impact on how professional they are in their job. While working at a previous educational setting I felt, although the school worked well, information was not shared well with every member of staff. good communication is, in my opinion, a key component to professionalism. You feel a more valued member of the team if information and decisions are shared with you. Although I understand not all information can be shared due to confidentiality, it is important that each member of staff knows what is happening around the setting.…
