Dear Bethel University facilitators and cohorts!!!
Thanks for your support ,you believed in me when no one or other university did!!! I choose you and respect the fact of you believing in me. The university itself is filled with instructors and students who participate in helping other succeed. During our student orientation I began to view Rachel's feedback regarding essays and complete sections and now have the desire to utilize our Smarthinking tool for corrections.
While experiencing obstacles personally and academically you supported me. I encountered psychological issues months ago but I continued to press forward and here I stand, still a student, as of today.
A strategic plan in progress includes studying immensely, time management, and contacting support systems.
Thanks Rachel for preparing and motivating ...

Sounds as if you have a great plan to overcome the obstacles you face. As a full-time parent and managing other responsibilities , things can be overwhelming. I think you set a great example for your family and other cohorts by obtaining a higher education and also handling the other responsibilities as well. Keep up the good work and know you have a great support system at Bethel University as well.

Hi Charley, I enjoyed your read, congratulations towards future endeavors. The first steps to success is acknowledging our shortcomings and it seems you do well with. The fact of you addressing the letter to self show a great performance in your analytic skills. You are correct we have to make sacrifices in our lives in order to see progress. We also have to remind ourselves that making sacrifices are not always easy.
Keep up the good work," I am sure as your cohorts" , we all look forward to seeing each other

Taking into account Creighton University’s dedication to a diverse educational community, I consider myself a student with varying talents, abilities, experiences, opinions, and backgrounds. One aspect of my life that separates me from others is my involvement in collegiate athletics. I competed in wrestling at both the Division I and Division III levels. Through wrestling, I have obtained a large amount of experience that will help me in physical therapy school. One of the greatest American wrestlers and coaches of all time, Dan Gable, once said, “Once you have wrestled, everything else in life is easy.”…

I have chosen to work towards a degree in dental surgery because of my interest in the sciences, medicine, and in research. My interest for undergraduate research has increased significantly since attending Hendrix College and my experiences thus far has made me a very well rounded student allowing me to study what I love, participate in athletics, and many other service organizations that Hendrix offers. Initially, I intended on majoring in Health Sciences, but decided against that as I realized that I was completely enthralled with chemistry and noted our outstanding chemistry department. This led me to my decision to pursue a Biological Chemistry/Molecular Biology degree to help me in my pursuit of dental school. Hendrix is providing…

When I open this letter, I will be a Calvin College student sitting on an old couch in my crappy apartment. Surrounded by the infinite amount of college papers and textbooks, you will basically be drowning yourself in your own clutter. However, you will still be happy with it, despite its messy condition, because it’s your apartment. You will live by yourself instead of your family, so instead of waking up to the sound of dad’s screeching coffee maker every day at six in the morning on the dot, you’ll wake up to the sexy voice of Jay Park. The apartment you will live in will be all white, minimalist as possible.…

Several challenges occurred during my college career. I worked throughout the majority of my education to pay for books and tuition. My parents helped with the costs of attending college as well as supporting me when my studies became difficult. The experience of being the first in my family to work towards a bachelors degree meant a lack of guidance and advice. I sought out the advice of an adviser who I have been working with for the past three years.…

First, I will try to define, in my own words, what I understand as opportunity cost. Money that is lost income, money that could be made, this is what I understand as an opportunity cost. Sexton (2013) gives us a good example to think of while using going to college or having children and one parent staying home with the children (p.40). Opportunity cost is the value of what could be another source of income that is lost due to certain circumstances with time lost in mind (p.40). This other source of income or alternative is not used if a person does certain things in their life (such as having children or going to college).…
