Letter: To Ben Sladek The first day of school went pretty well. Not being freshmen really helps because at least I know what I’m doing. How do you feel about our new teachers? I had Spanish first hour and it was awesome. Ms. Hirdler is way better than our old teacher. You already know this because you’re in the same hour as I am. It was my favorite part of the day. We all walked in very social and talkative, excited and “thrilled” for the new school year. Once Ms. Hirdler walked in we didn’t know what to expect. Everyone was quiet, even Sam Barnack, which is rare to see. Tyler, Ben, Xavier, and I sat in the back pleased with our new teacher.
