Letter To Amye Letter

Decent Essays
Dear Ed,

I think it would be helpful if we could have a witness testify about Amye’s job in a way that fairly represents the job instead of insinuating that every drop call constitutes misconduct as Luke did. I would like to interview someone who has performed that job for a long time and can talk about system breakdowns, reasons to stay on the call, etc. in way that every action isn’t assumed to be misconduct.

In another letter, Reta suggests that the thing that has driven her daughter Norah from the world is the feeling that is she doomed to the same prejudice of women novelists encounter. She knows that her sentiments are “excessive” and “womanish,” but everything she encounters has proven her theory. In her last letter, she writes to Russell Sandor, a writer who discusses how women’s lives often overlooked with disgust by male counterparts. He writes how he was shocked to see a mastectomy bra hanging in a shop window.…

Throughout the letter, a daughter is receiving advice from her father on men and marriage. As a man and a father, the author is able to provide insight to his daughter and recognize the injustices she may face in the future as a wife and a woman. Overall, the author reveals himself as a caring father that acknowledges the differences of the sexes and although he accepts the role women have, he encourages his daughter not to accept the stereotype of inferiority but to find an equal partner.…

    Letter To Daddy

The poem “A Letter to Daddy” is written in a letter format, composed by a faithful son with a kind heart that yearns to see his father again. The boy describes how well he is currently living in the Scout camp during the Holocaust. The tone of the story consistently stays happy, despite the unfortunate fate he’s most likely headed to, along with his mother. Although the way the boy writes to his father remains strong and positive, it still made me feel downcast. Jewish people were treated as an outcast to society, and the boy was so appreciative of what he has, even through this dreadful experience.…
