Dear, my classmate!
I was writing this letter in the cold, wild Sunday afternoon in Melbourne. I just checked our class emails which are sent to me and you every week although I have left the class for a long time. At the first time, I just think our teacher is so kind when he continues to send me these emails, and I had not much emotion about these emails. However, this afternoon, in a foreign country, in a multicultural class, in a well educated system, and in the stress of lessons, when I read the words from our class emails, my memories about our class are full in my mind. I came back to my teenager hood when I was a partner with Ha My, Nham Linh, Thuy Hang, Ha Ly, Ha Phuong…I have good bros like “anh” Tuan Anh, Hieu, Tu, Duc, Toan, Thang, “bác” Hiển and good sisters are “chị” Tu, Lan Hương, Trang, Ngoan… Everyone bring to me diffident emotions. Each member as me tries to improve our English to get our goal. Everyone work hard every day, and concern with the question “How can I get Ielts 6.5”. Moreover, I miss our teacher who give me a big impressive. I think you and me all can feel that through each lesson he teaches. It is just not only a lesson, but also much enthusiasm and dedication of a teacher, a soldier. He has to take care of his babies, but he usually finishes the class late. He is profession at English but still works hard with it to improve his lessons. I still remember that moment how he was happy when I told him I have chance to go to New Zealand to do my course. He is also so excited when he showed me his new curriculum for our class. I had cried alone on the way to come back my home from the class because I thought 6.5 in Ielts are impossible with me. I was exhausted with English, and I have given up. Fortunately, I still went to our class, still did my teacher homework, still received his encouragements. I could not give up, but I changed the way I learn. I know that I haven’t spent enough time for it, and it is easier if I just learn, learn, and learn without any pressure. I learn form my teacher and from my classmates as well as looking for my motivation form them. I passed the exam, not Ielts, but the one of Australia Embassy to take my course. And in my course now, one more time, I continue to worry about my target course because it is quite higher than my abilities. However, I think I am usually lucky person because my classmates in here, who are from Ukraine, Timor, Japan, Mongolia, Uganda, Indonesia, Tonga, Saudi, and China, and all teachers also help me to study. And you may surprise that although my classmates speak very well, some like native speakers, they still stay at 6.0 Ielts. I believe that the education, the teachers, and students in Vietnam are very good at Ielts teaching and learning. English is not our mother tongue, and it is not popular as
