Letter Of Recommendation Of Allison Abernay

As Allison Abernathy’s supervisor it is my sincere honor to write this letter of recommendation.
Allison Abernathy has been employed as a Financial Aid Advisor at Texas State University since February 2016. During her time here, Allison has been responsible for financial aid protocols, federal regulations, and the transmission of that data to more than fifty students per day. This is a daunting task that many lack the mental acumen to perform, or the preserverance to maintain, the high level of professionalism she brings to our office.

She is an exceptionally motivated self-starter who requires little supervision and is extremely proactive and productive. She has taken charge of our social media by monitoring its activity and creating new and exciting content for both Twitter and Facebook. Allison’s balance of professionalism, humor and strategic thinking has helped our office lauch its social media presence and she is instrumental in maintining content and responses. I do not think our social media would be nearly as successful if it weren’t for Allison’s dedication.

And I’m happy to say that it rubs off on everyone she

Supplemental Questions 1) Coming from a low-income, Mexican-American family and being a first generation college student, I have struggled to pay for tuition and fees in the past. In high school, I was never told what kinds of financial aid options were available, yet alone how to apply for loans and how they operated. This prompted me to research the vast amount of financial aid offered here at Diablo Valley College. Not only do I know about general financial aid information, but I can provide the necessary assistance to students who either need information or be navigated through the FAFSA.…

It is a great pleasure to recommend Rachel Sitasz for admission to the Edward Hospital Student Volunteer Program. She is one of the most empathetic, kind, and exceptional humans I have encountered in my 14 years of teaching. I teach Rachel in my 8th grade advanced ELA class. Her academics, character, innate curiosity, intrinsic motivation, ethical standards, and unwavering desire to give back, have put Rachel in a class of her own. In fact, for the first time in over 25+ years, the eighth-grade team created a brand new end-of-the-year award for our graduation awards assembly.…

This letter is to express my interest in the position as a Residential Assistant for The New School. I also sent my resume showing my experience, competence and reliability as a team member. This position caught my eye as soon as I stepped foot on campus, my parents and I were introduced to Ms. Marsha Dawson at a mixer and through her I gained an awareness of the possibilities of becoming an RA. I then did my own research and came away with the sense of pride that if given the opportunity, I would embrace the resident assistant (RA) position is truly a special one. Indeed, the job of an RA is to care about the residents, and few people in this world can claim that they are entrusted to and compensated to care about others.…

Abstract Less than 2% of middle-class families use a financial aid service compared to 60% of lower-income households. Due to these statistics, this difference is a result of middle class’s belief that financial aid is not beneficial to the wealthy nor the middle-income families. Middle-class America is extremely hard working due to the fact they could work every single day of their life and not qualify for any financial aid towards a higher education, as opposed to a low-income house hold that has two adults who haven 't worked a day in their life who 's kids receive free college tuition based on low income. Solutions are limited because only a select few receive scholarships and grants due to academic and athletic abilities.…
