Citizens rights and liberty of America has been a very hot topic throughout all these years. There are many citizens who feels as if their rights are being abused and there are also some who would disagree. The ones who feel as if their rights are being abused are the ones who are under the government. They have limits to everything that they do in their life such as wars, racism, and speech and many more. The ones who would debate against this are the ones who are working within the government. Using pathos is a good strategy to convince others to side with you. An example would be when Blumner stated how “American soldiers think they are fighting for the good USA, but in reality war was never good for liberty.” By her stating, this it creates the audience or reader to take the time to think about how war is and if it is good for the citizens liberty or not. Some citizens feels as if it is being abused, but there are many reasons for restrictions and limits towards one being. If the citizens continue to look at this situation as a bad thing they need to think about how the society would be if everyone had their freedom for every right. The world would be chaos no rules or laws whatsoever. If the citizens continue to feel this way and keep fighting then that leaves the future to be unsatisfactory, careless, and substandard.
