The grandmother and granddaughter, though unable to effectively communicate, have found a way to come together and enjoy their time. The grandmother is originally from Italy and therefore is unable to speak much English, if any at all. I grew up in Hawthorne, a small, quaint town located in Northern New Jersey. There I met my three best friends—girls with whom I have traveled, spent hours doing homework, and simply enjoyed being in company with.
