Abortion has represented the long standing feud between Democrats and Republicans ; Kelli Boyle, a contributor for Elite Daily, criticizes the actions taken by the government, specifically conservatives voting to defund Planned Parenthood which would heavy impact thousands of women who rely on low-cost/free health care. Boyle also explicitly points out that: “this is political bullsh*t and has nothing to do with the thousands upon thousands of women who rely on the reproductive health care provided by Planned Parenthood.” One vital point that Boyle makes is that abortion has become politicized to a degree that politicians are using it to generalize all of female reproductive care procedures, no matter side of the aisle they sit on.
