Lester Monologue

To add, something interesting you mentioned was Lester’s costume represented his isolation towards society. This was illustrated when he was verbally abused by his classmates in the school bus for wearing the costume; and reading a comic book.. In reality, people tend to use different methods in order to hide their emotions. Some methods include; self-medicating with drugs, running away from home and committing suicide. However Lester’s method of hiding his emotions was quite effective since I didn’t notice it at all. To include, when you explained Jimmy’s character he reminded me of my older brother. My brother is definitely masculine figure that rarely shows any emotions towards anything. The one time I ever saw him cry was when my family member passed away due to terminal cancer. In addition to his serious character, my brother also acts like child …show more content…
The only difference between my brother and Jimmy is that he doesn’t curse. Following with your next point, I don’t think Kenny understands how it feels to lose someone you love let alone your mother. Lester being the introvert he is, it is very difficult for him to express his emotions on how bad he misses his mother. Unknowingly, everything he does which involves playing with Jimmy, fighting aliens and dressing up as a superhero is disliked and revoked by his uncle. Kenny’s actions aren’t surprising to me because he clearly states to Claire that he isn’t ready and doesn’t know how to care for a child. Although he minimally tries to converse with Lester I believe this relationship will take a while to fix since it is so far away from a father and son bond. I believe Lester’s true feelings towards his mother’s death shows when he curses out Kenny when he is told to leave Jimmy alone. Kenny does not provide the emotional support that Lester needs during his moment of grief; hence Lester retreats to where he receives

A way to improve is to try to find a grave stone closer to Jimmy’s actual age or change the character’s name so it fits the stones name better. Jimmy’s bruising around his neck does not completely wrap around his entire neck. When the camera is behind Jimmy you are able to see the back of his neck is clear. Try adding bruising all around his neck to really make that clear to the audience he is dead and took his own life.…

This song strongly reminds me of Zach becasue he was always the master at pranks and finding ways to embarrass (bully) other students. The tone of the melody fits perfectly with Zach's personality becasue he is always thinking of a way to bully or pick on someone. According to pg. 14, the text states, "I did a quick scan to confirm there were no teachers looking on.... I reached up and snached a letter off.…
