I felt like I let my manager and team down but also myself. I learned never be late again. Now I’m always early everywhere I go. I will never forget what Theresa, my manager said to me that day. Lesson learned!

I learned something about myself that day, something that I have had a hard time putting into words.
This story has 2 lessons I learned. I can do anything I put my mind to. Nothing can hold me back. Going to school and helping the family on vacation made me feel like I can do anything. I felt important. I had doubts but I overcame them, I jumped right into action. I wanted to help and helping gave me self-worth, it added value to my life. That’s when I realized that I have much more work to do here in this life.
