Our own experiences are not just problems that we solved. They are also our lessons that we learned through our life journey. Experiences help us find the meaning and value of life because it is the only way for us to gain knowledge and wisdom. We learn from our past experiences. A great example of that is the movie “Finding Forrester”. One of the main character, William Forrester, was a reclusive novelist who learned from his experiences in writing. He shared his experiences with his friend, Jamal, to help him improve his writing talent even more. One of his lessons he shared with him was, when writing, always write with your heart first and then with your mind after. He also used his own work as a starting point to Jamal. This changed Jamal’s view on writing and …show more content…
By sharing our experiences, we are also teaching others the lessons we have learned and we might not know it but we may be changing someone’s life. We are simply teaching them to be brave and take risks on making mistakes because that is the only way they can learn. From experiencing things that have never been happened to them before. To learn new lessons and be wise next time they do something again. William Forrester learned lessons from his experiences which he had shared with Jamal and it changed both of their lives. Experiences touch us in many different ways but it will still end up teaching us lessons we do not know before. I, therefore, conclude we shall never regret our experiences. For they are the best teachers that gave us knowledge and wisdom. Whether if it’s good, bad, wonderful or sad, they helped us mold ourselves into who we are

Personal Narrative Why is failure the best teacher? I am going to answer this question using personal stories as examples. Failure is the best teacher because no matter what it changes a person, if someone fails and gives up it shows them that they didn’t really want to succeed badly in the first place, if someone fails and uses their failures to then succeed than they learned what it took to make their endeavour go right. We learn from failure by deciding how we are going to react to it and depending on that reaction, it can be a large change, or a small change.…

My statement is this I subscribe the rule of Hard Universalism, the theory of psychological egoism and because we are always selfish I believe utilitarianism represents the base desires of personhood.
