Lord of the Flies has many lessons but the lesson we all have to take that teaches us about ourselves and our world is that no matter in what situation we are humans are good until they are tempted to be evil. In Lord of the Flies when the boys first arrive they have law and order and just want to get rescued. The used a conch as law and order. Ralph blows the conch and calls a meeting.
