I introduced the book by saying the name, author, and illustrator. I then asked the questions what is a clothesline used for, and what is a uniform. The children could answer the questions by saying, washing clothes and for a job. Next, I told the children to listen to hear the different clues to see if you can figure out or guess the job of the person. As I read the book, each time one of the jobs was revealed, I asked what does that person do at their job. The children could answer the question every time I asked it. After I read the book, I played a memory game with the children. I had seven cards of the names of the jobs from the book and a bag filled with different clothing items that go with each one. The children had fun with this game, but some also had some trouble. I realized I should have used Velcro to put the game pieces on a board, made pictures of the jobs instead of the names, and the pieces could have been bigger so the students can see it. Afterwards, I also realized some of the students might not be able to read the names, so that is what I should fix for next time. Other than that, the children were really engaged throughout my lesson at circle
