Leslie Jr. and his father Sr. met at the Laburnum Office for the DD Intake. Leslie who graduated in June was recently diagnosed with ASD. Upon graduating he received a modified diploma with an IEP for a Learning Disability. Leslie Sr. stated he also had a LD when he was in school. LJ is soft spoken however did speak when spoken too. He never made eye contact. Leslie and his sister were raised mainly by their father. Leslie Jr. said these days he stays in the house.
November 21 he must appear in Juvenile Court due to fighting. His father asked a few times if the Intake Support Coordinator could write the court a letter regarding today’s session. It was explained that his presence for this intake would not hold any weight in court.
