There are numerous countries in this world where this right “freedom of speech” is not been given and many suffers for the same cause. People ends up in prison, threatened with abuse, or in some case people even been “disappeared” for speaking against their government. In the article “Human Rights Activists in China Locked Up For Speaking Out” the writer asserts “The human rights movement in China is growing, but those who attempt to report on human rights violations or challenge government policies face serious risk of abuse”. Due to these kind of endangering government laws and its effects, people are afraid to justify themselves even when they are not in fault.
