Leppo, Inc. was founded as an Oliver Farm equipment dealer in 1945 by Roy and Stella Leppo of Boardman, Ohio. Since then, the Company has grown to seven locations including Akron, Bedford Heights, Canton, Carrollton, North Ridgeville, Wooster and Youngstown. They currently have 130 coworkers and are the premier Northeast Ohio dealer of Bobcat, JLG and Multiquip. Leppo provides construction equipment and related services through rentals, equipment sales, service, parts and training. The Company is built on the values foundation called The Leppo Way, the essence of which is building mutually beneficial relationships between customers, coworkers, vendors, and shareholders, thus facilitating mutual success. While the decrease in exploration negatively impacted many of Leppo’s customers, in most cases, the Company maintained their strong customer relationships by engaging with them on non-energy projects. They have seen success utilizing social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as sites like Machinery Trader, thereby increasing their sales of used construction equipment. While facing challenges at other locations, Leppo, Inc. set an all-time revenue record in 2016 in the Youngstown area, surpassing previous records set in 2014 and 2015. Company-wide, Leppo finished the year strong – December of 2016 proved to be the biggest month in the Company's long history.
